I would have LOVED to bring in a Chinese female. ?
I believe there are some available through the  Sale forum. Someone always has some Chinese for sale. ?

I no longer release Chinese due to impact on beneficial insects. I think Chinese mantids should only be kept as pets and not released for pest control. I recently became interested in beekeeping and attended a couple of introductory classes. The beekeepers all seemed to share a common opinion: releasing Chinese mantids is becoming a major problem in some areas, and that the national association is reaching out to the Dept of Agriculture for help. That being said, I certainly wouldn't advocate killing them on sight in the wild. ?

I hope you're able to find a good Chinese female! Chinese mantids have made a very valuable contribution to the hobby and they still remain as one of my favorite species. ?

@Synapze Chinese are everywhere in the wild here in Ontario Canada. I believe they were introduced intentionally.

Regardless, I will only be able to request mantids from Canadian breeders (in this forum).

I'll have to be patient. ??
