Feeding after a molt?

How long should I wait after molting to feed my juvinille mantid?

I usually wait about a day or two. They stock up on food before they molt so they should not be too hungry yet. I hope this helps.

How long does it take for their new skin to harden?

From what I have ready it immediately starts to harden when they are out. As far as how long it takes to fully harden I am not sure. No more than a few hours. I would just pop in a few fruit fly or house fly, depending on stage of Mantid, and wait and see.
