Flies, absolutely.
I just put a bee in each of two pots with an adult female ghost for the second time today. They had both started feeding before I could close the feeding port. Folks concerned about feeding bees because of CCD or any other reason, might want to consider wasps which are currently available in the Southwest (dumpsters are a good source). Otherwise two or three flies at a time for adults or fewer for nymphs are quickly taken. The reason for preferring flying insects, of course, is the ghosts' habit of hanging out on the lid, but if you have twigs or whatever that extend to the lid, crickets will climb the twigs to their doom.
