three of my four female ghost mantises have molted to adulthood but two of them have "mismolted" in the same way. A smallish bit of their hind wings did not fold underneath their fore wings properly and sticks out under the side. I was wondering if this was common or if it might be fixed if she ever unfolds her wings to fly or hop. All 7 males have molted completely fine and one female(thankfully my green one) has molted perfectly. This minor mismolt doesn't not seem of affect them at all but it is sort of unsightly  and I dont really want to mate and breed any mantises that have any problems of any kind just to be sure that no problems could be passed on. (although this mismolt does not seem like it would really have any genetic factors.

@Darth Mantis Can we see a picture? Mismolts are not genetic and cannot be passed down, so I wouldn't worry about that.

Your green ghost is beautiful❤️

The little mismolt won't affect the female. I have never seen females fly and  soon they are too heavy to fly

Interesting! I've never seen that deformity before, but like Little Mantis said, it shouldn't affect them or their offspring.
