Last year I purchased two WC female vinegaroons that both produced egg sacs. One hatched and gave me 39 awesome babies. The other one I guess the female ate them. These two adult females slowed down their eating but they never dug in this winter like my young adults did. Now the same female that ate her eggs last year has another egg sac. So far the one that successfully hatched her eggs last year has not produced another sac. They haven't been with males since I got them. Is it possible for them to retain sperm or is it likely they are infertile and if they are infertile could that be the reason she ate them last year?
Any input would be appreciated.
