Does anyone know any low-humidity/requiring mantises that are good for beginners? Or is there any good hardy mantises that maybe require high humidity? I’m not a complete novice, I had cared for mantises once a long time ago, and I am caring for a leopard gecko that’s going on 5 years old now.

parasphendale affinis and sphrodomantis linolea, a light misting once week does them.

I would tag onto this by saying spiny flower mantids are relatively easy to keep as well.

I feel like pnigomantis are underappreciated. Mine tolerate an extremely wide range of moisture(I have them sitting indirectly underneath a heat lamp on my insect rack) and they're all thriving. They also get really big, are easy to handle, and will never refuse a meal unless they're in premolt.
