First Rose Hair

I've had two rose hairs and they were both purchased at that size. One died to a fungal infection but the other grew from tiny little thing to an adult male in about four years.

They can be pretty docile and easily handled--mine never kicked hairs at me. Just make sure you use gloves when you clean out their enclosures--the urticating hairs they drop as their exoskeleton wears down can be pretty irritating.

 
I have two that have molted twice. They are fast but chill. Nice to have them around. As for the escapee i did finder . She climbed I to a light fixture and dried out and died. :-(

 
My Avic avicularia sling molted in transit and survived, so i was letting her drink when she disappeard, luckily he was found two minutes later chilling under the lamp :p

Lesson learned : They like heat
