So I fed my female H.sp. 'Golden' a roach yesterday and she was eating it really slow. She held on to the empty shell of the roach for some reason, I didn't think much of it and put her back in her enclosure.  She was still holding onto it this afternoon and I noticed it was stuck after I tried to pull on it and the mantis' arm just wouldn't give, I stopped because I was afraid I would pull the foreleg off as well. It seems to be stuck on the femoral spines by, what appears to be, a glob of roach blood and/or guts. Any advice is appreciated. IMG_20170916_193652.jpg

I would try applying some water to see if you can soften it some around where it is attached to her claw.

I applied some water to a tissues and started to moisten the area and it popped off. Thank you :)
