Looks like the sign behind him has something to do with solar. I wonder if they were cooked by solar?
Good question. I've been wanting to make a solar cooker out of a windshield reflector. Maybe, I'll throw in a few bugs.

There is a Mexican restaurant in Portland too that serves chile and lime grasshoppers. Had 'em! Bit dry, but fun.

I've had the giant waterbugs and crickets and others too.

But alas, I have dim sum plans for Sunday. Bring on the chickenfeet!

Ohhhhh I will be in Portland in Aug. I will go see the place but I will let my son try the yummy delicacies lol.

 
Scrumptious,I've tried crickets before but not many of the others but it is on my to do list right under " eat more bugs" preferably not a mantis though as I'd feel a bit bad
