Fruit fly culture mix

Which commercial pre-mixed ff culture mix (where you just add water) works best for you?

I just ordered some of Rebecca's mix to try. I have never bought the pre-mixed media

before.

I have been buying the whole started cultures, so no experience with these mixes.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I went and ordered a few pounds.

I have problems with the mixes I have tried so far.

If I follow their instructions, it turns out too runny!

I have to practicly turn the culture jar upside down to get the flies out.

When I tilt it, the media runs down the sides!!

So I made one with less water so it would be thicker.

I hope that works!!
