Fruit fly culture, started stinking.

I got a ff culture at my local exotics store, For the first week it just smelled yeasty, not good but not bad either. It is producing alot of flies, I'm definitely pleased with that. Unfortunately, It is now starting to smell pretty bad to me, like crickets or snake poo. Is this still safe to feed nymphs?

it is fine, if u got about 10 extra flies, take and make another culture!

My first culture I made, I put way too much bakers yeast in, the whole upstairs had a lovely fermented oatmeal smell.

It is normal for them to have a slight odor.
