How many flies do you need as a minimum to start a fresh culture?

Thanks guys. Got about 15 in already actually, might add a few more as more hatch, but might just leave it as is. Found a decent seller on eBay and got some good medium,  but I now have an excellent recipe that I will try myself next time. It baffles me how livefoodsukltd don't care about a colony lasting more than a week until it gets unbearably smelly/mouldy.
