Do they have to be at least 90 degrees to breed?

Mine paired well at around the 76 mark

When I kept them mine were happy to breed at 75f

room temp is fine but they like hot temp.This will shorten their lifespan though....

I had too many. Than they started getting sick probably because I did not clean their containers! I was careless with them. I squashed some. I thought I would always have some left because there where many! I did not have enough food to feed most of them. I have a lot of fruit flies now. Even adult females can eat D. melanogaster fruit flies! I liked them a lot. Here is a video of a female eating D. melanogaster fruit flies.
