Have two winged adults who look to me to be different sexes. They are in deli cups. What is the best way to introduce them to each other for possible breeding? Thank you.

Thank you for posting the mating technique article. So far i have put the two adult ghosts in a large mesh cube with lots of hydei. But they are staying in their own corners far apart. They seemed to look at each other and their antennae moved. Maybe they are both the same sex after all.

Here’s a quick guide if you want to be sure.

Notice the difference in the crown and the antannae

Get a larger cage/tank and put both of them in it. Leave them for an hour or so, and they will do their thing for the next few hours. I just mated my ghosts last night using this method.

They were together all night in the large cube but did not pay any attention to each other. Will compare their heads to the photo again. Am starting to think they must be the same sex. Have four others who have not yet molted to adult and am hoping one will be an opposite gender.

Can I see a pic of them? I can identify them for you.

Will try to get my significant other to take ohotos. Another just molted to adult...another male. The first two adults who are in a mesh cube sat together peacefully yesterday. But no mating type behaviors so i am clse to positive tgey are males. Three have nit yet molted to adults but with my luck they are also males.
