I have 2 mantis's bugsey and Hope. Hope molted a few days ago got to see it to.

I'm jealous of your rats, they look so cute! I'd love to get some, but alas I don't have the space.
Hahaha that's sweet to say but I wouldn't be jealous!

They're incredible and I love them so much! On the other hand, cleaning their cage & litter box daily is a commitment XD (yes theyre litter trained!

I moved into a new place recently that I am blessed enough to have a "pet room".. But the little ones can really make a stinky cage if you don't stay on top of it at least 2 times a week. I prefer to have no stink at all XD!

Hope youre doing well pal and your little ones are doing great! :D

My little guys are doing great, thank you very much!

And you litter trained your rats? That's awesome! I assume you trained them yourself, how long did that take?

Excellent I am so happy to hear that!!

As far as the litter training goes I did train them

I got my rats from a breeder when they were a few weeks old

Its super easy, just requires getting used to the smell of rat droppings, and patience.

~When I first got them I kept them in an aquarium for 2 weeks (55 gal), with dog training wee wee pads lining the bottom, and all sorts of toys and stuff. I would just stop in as frequently as possible, and pick up all of their droppings and put them into their litter box. Eventually they figured out they like their cage without the dodo everywhere, and they actually start going all in one corner. I just moved the litter box to that corner, AND WALLAH! :D

its 95% working.. as they literally have 1 or 2 accidents (or lazy moments Idk lol) but they're still considered babies. I'm assuming when they're full grown they may stop leaving surprises for me haha!

Hope you are having a great week
