i have 2.2 adult ghost, one male is 3.5 weeks and the other is 3 weeks, he also has frilled wings. one female is 3 weeks and the other is 2.5 weeks. i have introduced the one pair and nothing happened, the male just walked off. is the male not ready? the female just sits there while he's on her back, i've had the same results 3 times in a row on different day so the female doesn't get annoyed.

the only thing i can think of is the males not ready, do you guys think the same?

any tips would be appreciated.

Yeah, try again in a week or so. But in the meantime put the males in a different room so they aren't saturated by the female's pheromones.

Have the females been calling? Most breeders wait for them to begin calling before attempting to mate the pairs.

Heat the males 10-15 degrees warmer than the feamles for a few hours, mist well, then put the females in the hotter male tank with some flys last of all, in a day or 2.
