So I'm incubating some Ghost ooths, the first of which was laid on September 5th. I've been keeping them at about 80 F during the day (room temp at night), and I mist inside the container once a day. I have the ooths parallel with, and glued to, the lid. I have one ooth per 32 oz container. Does that sound about right for ooth care?

Also, how long does it take for a Ghost ooth to hatch? And how many should I be expecting from each ooth? I have to plan ahead for fruit flies!

Thanks everyone!

The hatch count can vary quite a bit. The larger oothecae can hatch over forty nymphs, although mine are usually in the 20s. If your ooth gets a uniform moisture and not dry on some portion, your hatch will be maximized.
