ghosts mantids.

hi. my ghosts are about half grown judging by number of sheds. still pretty small and doing well on ff. dont see them catching many but they mostly disappear and getting fatter (for ghosts) so maybe feed more at night

but i was wondering as they are a small species, if they can survive on ff only diet as adults. im guessing they are probably too big to bother catching them but thought id ask as it will save bother of getting another food source. cheers

I think friut flies are too small for the ghosts 'claws'. It might not be able to catch th fruit flies.

to small, and ven if it can catch them you need to feed alot of them.

Less than half a mouthful for them. You'd have to feed a couple cultures a week :blink:

No. Wouldn't even be able to catch them. Bluebottle or houseflies are a good choice.
