He probably didnt remove the frogs because his pets are the frogs. He cares significantly less about these mantids. He let the frogs eat them because they'll make a tasty snack and a little different from what he normally gives them. I'd be thankful he saved any at all, seeing as how he could have just used it as a food source for a while.

Haha well I'll only do that if he keeps feeding them to his frogs. But in all seriousness, if it would make it easier as well as guarantee the safety of the living gonatistas, I could pick them up no problem.

oops i forgot to post this but the other day, after not hearing from him for 2 days, he tells me he sold off all but 5 and wasnt interested in my trade anymore

i asked if i could buy them after they molted but i havent heard from him since

however, chrisp might help me obtain some later this spring or summer
