Well, my mantids both grew up, and I know they die in the winter, so I released them. I didn't want to see them die. I put one on our big flowering asparagus plant, and one on a tall bush. I came back a few hours later and they were still there, but now they're gone. I guess I'm not going to be coming back here any more. I'm going to get a snake to replace them. It was pretty cool watching them molt and eat and grow up. So, goodbye everyone.

Thanks for saying goodbye! We'll still be here if you change your mind. My reptile collection has grown by 500% in the last 3 months. I'll never stop raising mantises, but the lizards eat roaches too, so it makes it pretty simple to keep both. (well, our cornsnake eats pinkies).
