Hey, I just fed my mantis a green aphid that I found in the garden and my mantis ate it happily. Was this a good idea? Just wondering and a reply would be much appreciated! Thanks!

So long as you are careful where you collect your outside insects from (ensure its a place that is free of pesticides) it should be fine. I frequently fed my mantises aphids and other "cluster bugs" I found during my dog walks when I ran out of fruit flies and never had any issues.

Like Team says - be sure the plant hasn't been treated with insecticides!!  Otherwise, aphids YUM !  (They're full of sugary goo).
