GREENISH MALE GHOST! interesting orchid colors as well

this male ghost just molted and he has greenish colors! i hope they will stay this way

this L5 orchid is female, but her neck band is brown

and this L5 orchid is male but his neck band is green

Jealous? Lol no but compared to the others he is rather green, but the color has left him since the molt

Thats not a male my friend.Check out the short antennae(or he is not adult yet).

It's definitely a male, the narrow "Crest" on the head gives it away, but it probably isn't adult.

You can see the abdomen furled. Ghosts don't do that as adults, and males can occasionally be green as nymphs

In the background of the photo. The abdomen is even with the head. On an adult, it would be forced down with the wings.

I have a beautiful green female. I named her Dragon. She arrived nearly black but got lighter in color with every molt. She has lovely tan/brown to go with her green.
