How rude of me to join this place for a year but never really officially introduced myself~
My name's Ben, I'm from Hong Kong but currently studying in the United States. I originally joined mainly cause I wanted to figure out a way to culture house flies, and lets just say I've eventually given up.
Looking forward to see what can I learn and also share my own back to the community~
I've had some past experience in keeping mantises like years ago, my first sp. I've ever kept was Creobroters.
But then I left Hong Kong, and stopped keeping them. It was until last winter when I got some wandering violins, and returned to the hobby, man it's been years~
Now I've ended up with loads of flower mantises~ Hymenopus, Theopropus, Pseudocreobotra... Yeah, it's only a slight exaggeration saying that I'm obsessed over mantises from the family Hymenopodidae...
(Below is my female orchid that I'm going to attempt to pair during my spring break, wish me luck~ First pairing attempt since 2011)
