Hi. Recently I caught a tiny mantis on top of my office's trash bin. Been wondering what breed. Ill attach a picture of him. Since then he molted twice. From brown and getting green.

welcome! it looks like a Hierodula sp.

Welcome to the forum! It does look like a possible Hierodula sp. It will be easier to tell when it's an adult.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome! It does look like hierodula sp. One more thing. Roughly ard which instar now? Since then it molted twice.

can't be certain from the pics, but if there are two cream-coloured spines on each upper forearm, then it is Hierodula patellifera (according to a 2009 local academic article i came across).

i believe it's L2 (or at most L3) in the first image and L4 / L5 in the second. It's been a few years since i've kept this species, but that's what i remember
