Hi everyone! I've been looking into getting a mantis for the past weeks (and ants a year before) and doing my research. This will be my first time owning an insect! Well... first time as a pet that is (I used to have a bearded dragon) 
I've been particularly interested in the fascinating p. paradoxa, the ghost mantis, and even managed to get my father interested in "mantis keeping" as well. I look forward to chatting with you all as well as learning!
