@DefyTheNorms Nice! Velma seems like a camera ham too. :D

With her exuviae visible, I'm curious do you keep your mantid exuviae in a scrapbook, collection, or just dispose of them? Seems everyone deals with exuviae differently.

There's usually one lying around somewhere, but I eventually dispose of them. I did plan on saving them when I first got mantids, but I ended up not bothering. I think the cats probably ate a couple too :p   What about you?

I wonder if I mixed it into the soil if that's something the springtails would eat?

The cats? See you did something different for sure. ;)

While I do save mine, they are in mixed in a large container anymore. I had big plans to similar to what MantidBro did with his scrapbook style with instars and dates, but never found the time.

She's adorable!

springtails love to eat exuviae, they are always gone the day after for me

The scrapbook idea sounds interesting! I'll sometimes take the exuviae out and set it on the side table, it 's disappeared a few times. I assume it was one of the cats.. Unless they knock it off and the dogs eat it lol.. Someone does :p
