Remember that Sybilla pretiosa ooth that I was talking about? It hatched five days ago and everybody is still alive and well, 26 in all!!! This is my first of this year, only because I am planning to move and was very busy. I've heard about these guys having a very high mortality rate, so when does that kick in? What can I do to help prevent the die-off? Been feeding them on fruit flies for now as they are very tiny and wouldn't take BBF's, quite obviously. They are eating readily and I'm keeping them in a 15 gal well ventilated screen tank and have been counting them every day. No deaths so far! :D

I haven't hatched S. pretiosa's - I've only raised them as L2 nymphs - but I've heard that die offs happen more often as L1's, and once they reach L2, they're much more stable. I hope yours are doing well!
