This forum has been an amazing resource. The experience and information you guys share makes me feel like this go around will go great.
I live in WA state USA and while living here I've seen a few mantis in the wild (T. sinensis). I grew up in Cali and every spring I'd look forward to buying ootheca and watching them hatch in our yard.
I've raised a wild mantis in captivity when I was younger which I'm pretty sure was a T. sinensis.
I bought a T. sinensis ooth that I plan to hatch and raise indoors. I've got plenty of containers with fine mesh covers glued to the lids. I've got a great resource for fruit flies and I cant wait for them to hatch!
I also want to thank you all for keeping this hobby going strong.
