Hello from California

Hi all, I am a 15 year old from California, USA. I have been collecting insects and carnivorous plants for years, and I have been raising lepidoptera for the last two years. I just got started in mantids last week, when a friend sent me some nymphs. I have 4 Decimiana bolivari and a single orchid mantis nymph, which are all feeding well and growing. I am very excited to have joined and be a part of this amazing community.

My species depends on the season and the year. I may have several of one type one year, and then none the next year. This year, I raised anise and giant swallowtail, but I have tiger, black, and anise swallowtails overwintering. I raised monarchs and queens. I have attempted Luna moths, and recieved some Polyphemus moth eggs from my same friend who sent the mantids, which are currently in 2/3 instar.i also am receiving a couple regal moth cocoons.
