Hi, my name is Billy. I’m a newer mantis keeper from the metro detroit area. I have always been into reptiles, amphibians, and insects since I was a kid. Last year, as I was searching for a small critter that’s easy to keep, I seen a YouTube video of someone with a pet mantis. I thought it was the coolest thing because I loved mantids when I was younger. Decided to pick one up online and loved mantis keeping. I really enjoy mimicking species of mantis. My favorites are p. Paradoxa and G. Gongylodes. I’m also into New Caledonia geckos. This year I plan on doing a few breeding projects including Popa Spurca and P Paradoxa. Would love to get my hands on some wandering violin mantises this year as well!
