Hi everyone.  

My son has recently been interested in praying mantis’s.  He’s been reading about them & watching YouTube videos like crazy and I thought this would be a great project for him to do for his TAG project. 
 

His favorite is the orchid and the African stick mantis’s.  

This a great forum and we’ve been reading a lot on how to care for these great creatures.

It's all good if you keep up to a handful. Beyond that... 

And believe me! The desire to own many becomes STRONG! LoL.

But yeah, kids love them!

Cool that your son is interested in mantids. So he will learn that not every insect is a pest.
