So, for whatever reason, I guess I stupidly created two accounts: this one and @fren.
Recently I have been trying to post in the for sale/wanted section but I would never get approved. I contacted support, but then I realized that the reason my posts were not going through was because I had actually made my introduction post on the other account, not this one.
Which brings me here.... again!
Here is a copy and paste of the other post, with some addendums:
I am a Graduate student studying aquatic macroinvertebrate communities in the coastal plains. I also recently became very interested in keeping mantids!
My current invertebrate collection includes:
-2 adult female carolina mantis
-1 Ghost mantis ootheca, with four babies that already hatched! (thanks @Jaywo!)
-1 L3 (maybe?) african twig mantis (Popa spurca, unsexed)
-3x Honduran Curly Hair Slings
-A small colony of hissing cockroaches
-A few possibly viable question mark roach ooths
I hope to start keeping and breeding many types of mantid and other inverts to enjoy for myself as well as to spread the love of inverts amongst my peers.
Cheers!
