Hello everyone,

I'm a 23 year old student from the Netherlands. I currently have a L6 Hierodula Membranacea, L2 Parasphendale sp. Giant and a small colony of Platymeris Biguttatus, and I'm planning to add more in the future!

Hello and welcome to the forum

Some great species for beginners or experienced alike. How long have you kept mantids? There are some other assassin keepers here too, I have a small zoo myself it seems but I tend to focus on mantids and arachnids.

Thank you all. I have been keeping praying mantids for about 3 months now, not very long, but I find them most interesting creatures. The Parasphendale sp. Giant is a new addition. Really like their aggressive style, even more agressieve then the H. Membranacea! Too bad its sibling died a few days after arrival.

Assissin bugs are quite entertaining too. It amazes me how the little nymph often takes down crickets two times its size.
