I live in Northwest Illinois on a farm. I have been interested in these for Years. I needed to get fruit flies for frogs and realized that I could keep other things. I went a little crazy so have a young group of Ghost Mantis, Malaysian Orchids Mantis, and few other. I have only seen a few molts so far.  I have 3 dogs, a large number of fish tanks, Frogs, axolotls, newts and other. I went to college for horticulture before the internet existed.  I am eager to learn more.

I'll be 50 this November. I remember having to watch cartoons on the TV too. LoL. No microwaves as a young kid.

Back in the day, 8 year olds stayed at home alone all summer long as parents worked. I'd ride my bike miles from home. Street hockey all day every day. 

Our friends on bikes would pull us on ropes as we street surfed with our skateboards. 

That was a different age for sure.
