I don't know if this has been asked yet or not but I did search it...

Has anyone here kept both species? At the same time? Pictures?

Is there a size difference?

What are the differences between the 2?

If I remember correctly the three main differences between the two are: Size (orientalis is longer) Eye shape (orientalis is pointed, and occidentalis is rounded off), and wing patterning (orientalis has the spots arranged more circular, occidentalis more checkered)

Thank you... But....

Here are 2 videos from 2 of our members

Heterochaeta Orientalis

I have asked about this to several people, the species im keeping is most likely heterochaeta strachini, but i continue to call it heterochaeta sp. To avoid any mis labeling
