Hi everyone - I'm Kat, excited to join this forum and learn! I've been keeping aquariums for the last 12 years, but never a terrestrial invertebrate before. I haven't got any mantids yet - want to learn all I can before I take the plunge and make sure I can create a suitable habitat

1. Never buy get a Christmas from outside unless you want 200 L1 nymphs running around your house.

2. Always keep an eye on your nymph when handling because they can and will book it (or end up under your arm). Even when closing the container, make sure they are in there. 

3. Mantids like to attack the scrollbar on your phone when hungry.
