Hi everyone, my name is Jess. I'm from the USA, 18 years old, and work at Petsmart. I'm just starting the mantis hobby and super excited to get started!.

Welcome jess! Do you know what your looking to get as your first mantis or do you already have a few? My favorite part was picking out my first exotic!

I'm currently looking at the hierodula sp. blue. Already have the feeder flies and getting the terrarium tomorrow. Super excited.

Great choice! They are very colorful. If you are buying it as a nymph I would recommend having a smaller enclosure so it can catch its food with ease. Best of luck!
