hi Everyone! So nice of you all to add me in. I have been keeping mantises for quite a while so know my way around them. I’m curious, what’s your favorite mantis? Mine has to be orchids. They are pretty but very rough and tumble type mantises too. They may not look it but they are one of the strongest and bravest of the mantises I’ve had.

Welcome to the forum! Mine is probably the ghost mantis. So docile, easy to keep and breed, and gorgeous! Also, it's fun to scare guests with them when I tell them to find the mantis and the 'leaf' moves.

Yes, orchids are stout pitbulls. That was my first characterization of them. The lobed legs cause nice meaty whacks as they scurry down their cups.

Im really enjoying majuscula. They're strong and aggressive. This is my first time with them and they're 5i/6i. I have eight. I want babies. ☺
