Hi, my name is Jerry Painter from Montana. I have kept various mantids since I was a kid and have a bunch of S. lineolas that the kids have been catching food for this summe.Quite a few of their friends have adopted a few of their pets, I haven't seen a kid yet that isn't interested in a mantis.

 
Welcome Jerry to the forum! I think that's great what you are doing for your kids and his friends! Not to many people I know around were I live in Florida have any knowledge about the praying mantids. For instance my dad thinks they can spit in your eye! LOL! hes kinda lame about certain things!
