How long for pregnant female to lay her eggs?

Yay! My female Chinese Praying  Mantis just had sex in my bathroom. I didnt see it, but when I came home they were finally apart (after about 24 hours).She ate from my hand when they were together so maybe thats why she didnt eat him.  I put the male back in his cage.

I would love some advice. What do I do now if I want her to make an egg case? Should I bring in sticks from outside? Is there any rush? How long til she starts to lay them?

I don't know what kind of enclosure you have, but I would use plenty of sticks and branches. Female Chinese can be very particular about where they lay their ooths.

She'll do that on her own. ?

I would go ahead and get her enclosure ready... it's hard to tell when she'll lay.
