well i am down to only one chinese left......(not to active....but not to bad). but on the brighter side i found a

s.carolina ooth yesterday.three of my chinese females laid eggs.and on top of that today we found 11 chinese ooths just walking around. two of them are a bit small so not sure if they are fertile or not.

p.s. how do you find s.carilina ooths ?,...took forever to find that one. (my s.carolinas did from unexplained illness)

~again thanks for your time

The carolina ooths I have found have been about waist high, usually on thorny type trees and weeds. They blend in pretty good and are sometimes on the underside of the branch.

Good luck!

Rebecca

They are in the same places but just don't stand out as much. If the area is heavily populated with chinese mantids there are likely less carolina mantids.
