Hubby and Geeka

When my daughter first rescued Geeka the hubby was not to thrilled about another mouth to feed and care for. A week has passed and now I hear " Good morning Geeka. does Geeka want some banana? Oh honey look at Geeka eat his banana." do you have a house member that was not thrille by your mantis suddenly just get taken by it?

Sometimes I catch my husband checking them out, but he will never admit to more than being able to tolerate them, at the least. Lol!

He was the one who told me to bring the first one home when I texted him the pic of it, but soon after that, he lost interest in mantids. :/

Admittedly I am with Rick on the the Banana? We are talking about a mantis and not a monkey right? Then again my mantis Pawn just tried to attack the scroll bar on my computer screen. At least a banana is actually edible...
