I was looking at my mantid and I say the one if them has a black mush spot in between the arms and legs can you tell me if this is something I should be worried about or what kinda scared

 
Only info I can find recommends a humidity of 45% If your in California the average outdoor humidity is like 60%+ so unless you are running a serious dehumidifier in your house you probably want to only indirectly spray a few drops periodically for drinking water (more if she drinks right away, less if she seems indifferent). You should check your indoor humidity to be sure, but it does sound like shes been getting too wet too often.

So I figured out the problem turns out the the paper I put in there was starting to mold so part of it went on the bug so I went and did surgery on it and I got tweasers and pull it off and it looks fine thanks for the help guys
