The tomato plant does not have to be big. It just needs to have atleast 10 leaves, and a decent smell to it. Tomato plants always smell, just need the smell for my hawkmoths to breed.

I also could reaaaallly use bramble or rose leaves. Just leaves in a bag.

Let me know what you would want, I will be generous! Bug feeders and cash is what I have to offer!

hey man i dont have bramble ,but i recently got some stick bugs and they eat romaine lettuce just fine , plus isnt tomato leaves poisonis ? i know they are to humans (nightshade)

No. Brian's hornworms and leaf miners love 'em! Brian: Those critters can go through a lot of tomato leaves. Try here: http://www.amazon.com/Mortgage-Lifter-Tomato-Plants-Well-Shaped/dp/B000OOT6KC

and remember, Google is yo................. :D
i dont feed them the leaves, they need the scent in order to breed...

the hatched larvae eat a chow that i make, i dont bother buying the chow from greatlakershornworm nor mulberryfarms because they charge sooo much money! lol..

i already found stuff, thanks guys.

BTW - phasmids do way better on bramble and rose and a few other species of plants as appose to romaine lettuce.

as far as i know, only indian and devil horns can do well on romaine lettuce, correct me if im wrong.

Go to any nursery, garden shop, home depot, lowes, wal mart, etc. All should have tomato plants. May be a bit early in your area but large nurseries may have them already. They do here.

I wish Rick! I tried everywhere in my area, even a little outside of my area.

I got many offers though! So now I am good! You can close this thread if you'd like?
