I been out of the hobby for a long time, but I want to get back and into something new. I was saving up money to get a colony of Idolomantis diabolicas, but now that I think of it they're just like any other mantid, but prettier and dramatic... I diverted my attention to phasmids but the more exotic ones are illegal. Then I found this, I been looking up the exotic katydids like the spiny devil katydid and the armored cricket http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/showthread.php?80808-Enyaliopsis-sp but these are hard if not impossible to obtain. I know there are some people with the Giant Texas Katydid or however you want to call it, but I don't see them ever for sale.
I want to get into omnivorous katydids/crickets
