Yeah they like them cuz they help keep moth and fly population down in the house. I usually have one of the Idolos hanging out on an umbrella plant in my room, and a few 3-4 foot sticks for them to climb on when I have them out. They can take the Idolomantis, put it on a long stick and hold the mantis in the window or light the fly or what have ya is buzzin around in, and 90% of the time the idolo snatches it right up. Prolly the best flyswatter I've ever owned. Definitely the most entertaining. And I get my roommates to help feed the gluttens that are female Idolomantis.
But yeah that is actually what I am up to in the camo pics. I am holding the stick the mantis is on in all those photos, except the one on the flowery branch. I hold them over bug filled flowers to hunt. They where feastin on these giant thorny red flies(almost 3x bigger the BBs) that we have a bajillion of out here, as well as the occasional honey bee as again there are so many of them and despite me trying to keep them away, they would just fly strait into the Idolos.
