After many months of work, and 18 pages of the "Idolomantis Consolidated" thread, which, I'm proud to say, has over 5,000 views, I finally feel confident enough to pass some babies on to other (relatively) experienced breeders. They are NOT for the casual hobbyist, but they're also nowhere near as difficult as people projected. Especailly if you don't care to breed them, and just want to enjoy these amazing giants!

I have L1 and L2 available at the moment, with L3's in a week or so. I'd like to sell them in lots of 5, with price starting at $21 each (plus shipping), a bit lower for larger numbers, until I run out. Guaranteed live delivery with Express mail. Cash back for lost nymphs (not including postage). PM for more details. Older instars available for a bit more.

Here's a pic of an adult male, and a little tiny L1.

Please read the thread at "Idolomantis Consolidated" before placing an order. You'll need a proper setup, and fair amount of space, and the resources (and willingness) to provide lots of Flies. By FAR the most rewarding species I've ever raised!

PM if interested, and enjoy!

Yeah, they do click sometimes when doing their threat pose, but that's ONLY as adults, and it's all show. I just pick them right up. There are plenty of reasons NOT to do Idolos (space and food being primary), but the clicking is a FEATURE, not a BUG. :)

i want idolos so bad but they are just so expensive! and agreed great breeder and grea at shipping /\
Thanks for the kind words.

I think prices will come down a bit as well get them better situated in culture.

I have one ooth that is only hatching 2 or 3 at a time, a few days apart. If someone wants only a few, I'd rather pass these along at a reduced rate, than have separate enclosures for them. Just let me know.

Yup! L5, L6 and L7.

I'm a little nervous about shipping at the late ages (they are SO clumsy). That said, just send me a PM and we'll work it out.
