Perhaps because you didn't add a space between the colon and the URL. Also, the link isn't accurate, here's the line to use if you want the video to appear directly in your post:

[media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YB0gp1OyqCs[/media]

Sorry, the original text had some formatting that prevented it from working.

The easist way I remove formatting is to paste the text into an editor (e.g. notepad) and then copy/paste it from the editor, not a webpage. In case that doesn't make sense, here's your video embedded into my post. If you are able to get it to work in your post (or if a mod fixes it), I'll remove it from this post.
