I have a Giant Shield Mantis (R. megaera) in transit from Panterra. It should be delivered tomorrow... woohoo! ?

I've already added to my collection list on my profile. I think my personal collection is now temporarily complete. I think.

Ha! "Complete" he says. @Synapze What species are you getting next? ;)  That is great that you are getting a new mantis. Keep us posted!

Where do you add this in your profile?  I keep looking and can't find it.

Hierodula majuscula ?
Also, I am currently waiting on one of these!  I ordered one at the end of May....still waiting..... ?

Go to Account> Profile and you'll see your profile picture. Click the little pencil icon and then you'll be able to add stuff to the "About me" section.

Has the seller told you why there is a delay?

Actually, I finally got a fb message a day ago that there was a loss in the family and that is why.  They said my 2 will ship asap.  I am hoping Monday (before the heat spikes again and before the holiday week).  I ordered a Heirodula Majescula and a Sphodromantis lineola.

I am glad that you have a reason why your mantids were not sent right away. I am sure it takes a load off your mind!

My Giant Shield Mantis (R. megaera) arrived on Thursday from PanTerra. I haven't taken photos yet because he's so small and my camera can't focus through the enclosure, even though it's clear. The little ones scare me a little. ?

I'll post some photos when he gets a little bigger. If I look close enough I believe I can already see what appears to be the shield developing. I can't wait to watch him(?) grow.
