Hello, im new to mantid keeping, ive had an L3 hieordula majuscula for a week now. Im very confused when it comes to how much I should feed; there is a lot of conflicting information. Some say it is impossible to overfeed so dont worry, others say overfeeding is harmful. Atm i just make sure there are a couple of fruit flies in the enclosure at all times - the mantis seems to be eating only when its hungry, at other times its just indifferent to the flies. Thanks!

Fruit flies are to small right now, try house flies. Thoses are small enough it may not even see them. Give it 3-4 house flies a day. If going into a molt it will strike at the food, then remove it.
update them when you can.
